Trip to the Iguazu Water Falls

As each year comes to a close, our logistical organization charms us with new challenges, but this year was quite unique. Evan Bradley, our GAP 2005 student and his younger brother, Kyle Bradley, departed to the Iguazu Falls from Cordoba City. Evan was in charge of the Xmas 2005 Students; Bakari Jackson, Gladys Chege, Jed Talbot and Lauren Webb, as well as the two Explorers Duncan Yates and Nick Harland.

Keisy and I bade farewell to the Simply Blue entourage (leaving to return to South Africa) and departed from Buenos Aires en route to the Iguazu Falls.

Marion Bradley awaited in Buenos Aires for the arrival of her third son, Warren Bradley, who was arriving from India to be able to join up with the Tour group at the Iguazu Falls.

With this incredible but spirited start to the Iguazu Falls Tour, we arrived on tour to the Brazil, Paraguayan and Argentine tripartite frontier where temperatures of 42 degrees Centigrade awaited us. Visiting Brazil Brazil, Capitao, and the visit to the enormous houses built with centuries old trees, plus the cordiality of all participants made this tour an exceptional highlight for me personally. For me, this was my first visit (after almost a decade) to one of the seven natural wonders of the world. I am sure that TCEF wishes me to return more frequently, but I feel that others should also be given the opportunity to enjoy this magnificent spectacle.

All the very best to those finishing their time with us in Argentina and hopefully 2006 will provide us with so many more STEdP students, with anxious happy faces that wish to learn about our language and culture in Argentina.

Happy new Year to all for 2006.
